"VMI Stock" view enables to:

  • view the stock level and sales data of your products at chosen customer's POS;
  • filter the report according to the selected criteria;
  • download the results in Excel format for further processing;
  • view the documents upon which the report was created.

 

Interpreting the data and colors

If you have activated the Data Quality (master data management) service, product quantities at the report have colour indicators:

Cell in the stock aisle is yellow - product stock level at the particular store is below agreed average i.e. (min qty + max qty)/2

Cell in the stock aisle is red - product stock level at the particular store is below agreed minimum

Cell in the stock aisle is empty - the product was not included into the last inventory report

Generating a report

To create a report, select "Buyer" and "POS" that you wish to include, and press "Generate Report"

NB! Stock report displays only one point of sale at a time.

By default the report is generated for the last 7 days (including today).

The report displays filtered results, if the filter is set previously for this particular point of sale.

 

Choosing a period

You can change the reporting period by:

  • clicking "Choose period" and
  • choosing suitable time from the dropdown menu:
    14 days
    • 30 days
    • 60 days
    • 90 days
    • current week
    • last week
    • current month
    • last month

NB! The data is usually stored in the system at least for 90 days. Data cleanup is scheduled quarterly, therefore it might be possible to view also longer data periods.

 

Filtering data

You can apply different filters to get various data views:

  • choose the suitable filter from the dropdown menu (NB! Some of the filters require for you to have assortment data stored in Telema system, these are marked with *):
  •  Product group*                         - choose a product group from the list;
    • Name                                    - enter at least 3 characters of the product name;
    • GTIN                                      - enter at least 3 characters of the product's GTIN code;
    • Seller's product code             - enter at least 3 characters of your product code;
    • Products *                             - you can choose from these products according to the assortment list:
      * current assortment             - only products that are in the current assortment are displayed;
      • all products                     - displays all products that have a reference in any of the received VMI documents during the selected period;
      • not current products      - displays only those products that are not in the current assortment, for example products that were current before and might have some stock left in shops;
    • Stock                                    - select, if you wish to filter according to the inventory level:
      * =                                       - equal to the entered value;
      • <                                       - smaller than the entered value;
      • >                                       - greater than the entered values;
      • <min*                               - smaller than minimum qty set for this product in the assortment. No need to enter additional numeric values;
      • >max*                              - greater than maximum qty set for this product in the assortment. No need to enter additional numeric values;
      • <avg*                                - smaller than the average of min and max qty set for this product in the assortment. No need to enter additional numeric values;
    • Min*                                        - select how you wish to filter (<>=) and enter the value. The data is filtered according to the set minimum quantity;
    • Max*                                        - select how you wish to filter (<>=) and enter the value. The data is filtered according to the set maximum quantity;
    • Days covered .                          - select how you wish to filter (<>=) and enter the value;
    • Total sales                               - select how you wish to filter (<>=) and enter the value;
    • Average sales                           - select how you wish to filter (<>=) and enter the value;
    • From                                        - choose the start date;
    • To .                                          - choose the end date;
  • click "Generate Report".

If you wish to use the same filtering criteria for the same POS again, click "Save filter". To reset the filter, click "Clear" and resave the filter.

 

Downloading data

You can download the displayed data for further processing. By applying different filters you can download various reports - the system downloads the data of the current view.

  • apply filters and create the desired data report;
  • click "Download"
  • open the downloaded report with MS Excel or some other application enabling to open "*.xls" files.

 

Viewing base documents

If necessary, you can check which documents were used to create a report:

  • choose tab "Documents".
