Uploading masterdata in Excel file
Masterdata upload form (MD Excel) can be downloaded from Telema Portal. For that, click on Download button.
MD Excel gives you possibility to upload these documents:
- PRODAT - product list,
- PRICAT - price catalogue,
- PARTNER - partners list.
Managing masterdata in Excel
NB! Excel file should contain full information about your products and prices. It will overwrite all the information in our system.
Open the MD Excel for editing.
Depending on your company settings in our system, MD Excel will contain a set of following sheets:
Uploading masterdata
- Download masterdata (excel file).
- Enter required information on each page. Tips on how to fill each sheet can be found under links in above list.
- Save filled Excel in an easily accessible location.
- In Telema Portal, click on Products and Prices button. On the menu click Upload.
- In the opened "Masterdata upload" window click Browse. Find the MD Excel file and click UPLOAD.
- System will then start uploading the file and verifying that all required information is entered.
- Check whether all values are allowed.
- Check for duplicates.
- If any problems are found, the system will notify you about the errors.
- In case everything was fine, the system will import the data and report that document upload was successful.
NB! Processing uploaded masterdata may take several minutes. Please be patient.
If you need to change your current masterdata, download the current file, fill in changes and then upload it again. This is necessary as we are always improving our services and when changes are done to masterdata file structure, you won't be able to upload masterdata with the previous structure.
